Girls out

There are kids that go skiing with their parents when they are on holiday. There are girls that accompany their Mum to Zaragoza to work. Paulina and Louisa, Mathilde, Ana and Steffi left to Zaragoza to establish an infrastructure in a country where burocracy seems to be the biggest trend. The journey was tough. Getting electric power, a telecommunicative connection, buying tickets for the Expo, meeting Expo-people and getting an all-access-pass was more difficult than any of us would have thought.

And then Ikea in Zaragoza. Wow, what an empty store! Spucky! Had anyone ever bought as much as we did? We made it with quite some stuff to establish Paulas, Roberts, Ulis and Anjas second home for the next months.

Paulina had spanish lessons with Ana while setting up beds and desks, Louisa made the “garden” look nice, Mathilde prepared a lovely dinner and Steffi did the laundry while being close to a nervous breakdown as nothing outside of Ikea and the house in Utebo seemed to work.

The last evening, after cleaning, arranging, setting up and driving around for hours we deserved a perfect dinner in “La Mathilde”. Yummy and nice! A tip to go! Flying back home Louisa took Steffi aside and said: ” You have such a strange job! Glad I wanna become a dentist…” Thanks to the little and the big girls for their support! It was great to discover Zaragoza with you!
