Amsterdam has it’s own Hermitage Museum, a satellite of the Hermitage museum in St Petersburg, Russia. From June 20th 2009 the restored and expanded museum building of the 17th century is open for the public. Visitors can see the beautiful treasures from the State Hermitage Museum.

Totems has designed for the inaugural exhibition ‘At the Russian Court’ a medial installation. The projections shows dancing people in the 19th century in the Hermitage Museum though a window, as if you were in that ballroom by yourself.
